than a hundred Iranian-American scholars and professionals across the United
States have expressed serious concern to U.S. President Barack Obama over the
deteriorating situation of human rights in Iran, the Organization of
Iranian-American Communities. (OIAC)said on its website
The
letter, sent on the eve of the arrival of the Iranian regime’s President Hassan
Rouhani in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, cites the
“unprecedented spike” in hangings in Iran and the crackdown on dissidents,
women and youths as well as religious and ethnic minorities as evidence of the
true nature of Rouhani and his regime.
