U.S. Congress investigates deception in Iran nuclear deal – report

The United States Congress is investigating whether the Obama administration misled lawmakers last summer about the extent of concessions granted to Iran's regime under the nuclear deal, as well as if administration officials have been quietly rewriting the deal’s terms in the aftermath of the agreement, the Washington Free Beacon reported, quoting sources and a formal notice sent to the State Department.
The concerns come after statements from top U.S. officials last week suggesting that Iran's regime is set to receive greater weapons and sanctions relief, moves that the administration had promised Congress would never take place as White House officials promoted the deal last summer.
When multiple officials—including Secretary Kerry, Secretary Lew, and Ambassador Mull—testify in front of Members of Congress, we are inclined to believe them,” Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.) told the Washington Free Beacon.

The US House of Representatives approved the “Iran Terror Finance Transparency Act,” nearly three weeks after a similar vote was cancelled.
The House narrowly passed the legislation last month, but the vote was voided after nearly a third of the chamber showed up too late to cast their votes.
The “Iran Terror Finance Transparency Act,” bars the removal of certain individuals and financial institutions from a restricted list until Obama administration certifies to Congress that they are not involved in Iran's ballistic missile program or in terrorist.
Following Tuesday’s passage of the Iran Terror Finance Transparency, House Foreign Affairs Chairman Rep. Ed Royce said: The regime in Tehran “is cashing in on a $100 billion jackpot, even as it tests ballistic missiles, seizes American sailors and continues its support for terrorism. President Obama must keep his promise to ‘fully enforce’ sanctions on Iran’s illicit programs and confront its dangerous acts.”

Democrats and Republicans say U.S. pay more attention to Iran regime’s behavior

Concerns about the Iranian regime’s behaviour exist in both chambers of Congress, where some of the President Obama’s strongest allies on the nuclear deal are joining some of his sharpest critics to demand a concerted response to the missile tests by Tehran, the Washington Post reported.
While Washington is focused on how to combat and protect the country from the Islamic State, some Democrats say that President Obama and his administration should be paying more attention to Iran, which reportedly conducted new ballistic missile tests in November, the report said.
I understand that most of Congress and the administration are very distracted by the global refugee crisis, by the terrorist attacks in Paris, by our conflicts with ISIS,” said Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) “The reality is with this deal, I’m on the administration’s side, but they need to be doing more…. We have to have a menu of responses that we and our allies have agreed on and that we will take. Or the Iranians will pocket it and keep moving.”
Republicans — including Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), who opposed the nuclear pact — openly worry that if the Obama administration doesn’t punish Iran now, it will fail to castigate it in the future for any infractions of the Iran deal, which Congress failed to reject before a Sept. 17 deadline.
“Iran violates U.N. Security Council resolutions because it knows neither this administration nor the U.N. Security Council is likely to take any action,” Corker said this week. “If we cannot respond to a clear violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution, I have no faith that the U.N. and the Obama administration will implement any form of snapback in response to the Iranian violations of the nuclear agreement.”

Iran - In deed the only solution to the Nuclear Crisis is the removal of Iranian regime by people and their organized resistance.

Ultimate solution to Iran nuclear crisis is tied to death of theocratic regime.

The Obama administration ought to adopt a "strategic and sensible" Iran policy that would empower the Iranian people to bring about regime change in place of the ruthless theocracy.

"The international community owes a huge debt of gratitude to the main Iran opposition movement, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), for its diligent and continuing efforts to unmask Tehran’s clandestine nuclear weapons program. Without it, the mullahs would have had the bomb by now."
