Laila Mohammadi: The echoes of a common cause

Hello. This is my flute!

It appears to be a musical instrument but in fact, it is an efficient weapon that has harmonized hearts of the freedom fighters

with the Iranian people and people all over the world.

I played my flute in a beautiful sunrise in Ashraf. Within a short time I saw a young boy playing the same tune in Iran and then I heard its echo all over the world…! I call this reverberation, one of a “common cause”.

I found this common cause in my childhood. I learned it from my father who was a political prisoner at the time. I found it in the sad eyes of “Farshid”, a poor young boy with little clothing in the brutal cold winter. He was selling goods for a living in front of my high school. Farshid would sell pens in the morning and in the evening he would polish shoes on the street. There are many “Farshid”s in Iran. Yes. In Iran, there are many children and young adults whose childhood and dreams have been changed to gloom and dark prospects because of poverty.

The Iranian Resistance calls for the acceptance of Iranian asylum seekers who have fled the clerical regime

The Iranian Resistance calls on the governments of Greece and Macedonia 
to accept asylum seekers who have fled the oppression and crimes of the clerical regime and have reached the borders of these countries, and while understanding the problems of the government and people of these countries due to the entry of hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers, stresses that the opponents of the religious fascism ruling Iran which has 120000 political executions in its record, deserve the sacred right to asylum according to the 1951 Geneva Convention and all practices and internationally recognized standards.

The record of two years presidency of Rouhani is nothing but increase of suppression including 2,000 executions, amputations, acid attacks on women and girls, and increased catastrophic poverty, prostitution and addiction.

Maryam Rajavi strongly condemns Paris massacre and extends condolences to French President and people

MaryamRajavi has strongly condemned the massacre of innocent people in Paris, describing it as savage terrorism and a crime against humanity. She expressed her condolences to the President, government and people of France over this great tragedy and offered her most sincere sympathies to the families of the victims.

She added that tonight humanity's conscience is in a state of shock and disbelief on how such crimes can be committed in the name of God and religion. The Iranian people, who for the past 37 years have been under the yoke of the mullahs' religious dictatorship and the rule of terror by the 'Godfather of Daesh' (ISIS, ISIL, IS), have experienced such crimes and fully comprehend the French people and their feelings in these hard moments and share their agony.

Maryam Rajavi reiterated that fundamentalism in the name of Islam - whether under the banner of Shia and velayat-e faqih or under the banner of Sunni and Daesh – and their inhuman crimes have nothing to do with Islam, and this evil phenomenon, wherever it may be, is the enemy of peace and humanity.

Every minute 5 more people in Iran join army of unemployed

Every minute five more people in Iran join the sea of unemployed people in the country, according to the state-run Resalat daily.

The paper wrote on October 25 that Ali Rabei, Hassan Rouhani’s Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, who was speaking to a gathering of representatives of unions in Iran’s Zanjan Province, said: “Currently, it is such that every minute five more are added to the army of unemployed and there is a need now for the creation of 800,000 new jobs every year.

Phumla Makaziwe Mandela, a women’s rights advocate and daughter of the late South African leader Nelson Mandela, has urged the people of Iran to continue their fight to achieve freedom and democracy.

Dr. Maki Mandela made the remarks at a major conference in Paris on human rights in Iran on October 10 on the occasion of the World Day Against the Death Penalty.

Addressing the people of Iran, Dr. Mandela said: "All I say to you is do not lose hope, stay with hope and resilience, and hope in a greater power, and you will succeed eventually in your fight against evil."

Edmond Spaho: Albania supports democracy in Iran

Edmond Spaho, Vice President of the Albanian Parliament, says he and his country will always support the Iranian people and Resistance in their struggle for freedom anddemocracy in Iran.

"I know that 120,000 political activists have been executed in your country [Iran] for their belief in democracy," Mr. Spaho told a major conference in Paris on human rights in Iran on October 10 on the occasion of the World Day Against the Death Penalty. He was referring to the 120,000 members and supporters of the main Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, or MEK).

"I also know that under [Hassan] Rouhani, the so-called moderate president of the regime, 2000 people have been executed in just two years."

"I know freedom of speech does not exist in your country at all. I know that freedom of religion also means nothing" in Iran.

Iran: 553,000 women expelled from job cycle last year

The latest figures released by the National Statistics Center this fall (2015) indicates that in the year leading to Fall 2015, more than 553,000women have been expelled from the economic cycle...

They have also granted little opportunity to women's employment by government in the Employment Exam.

Some 8,000 people will be attracted by this exam, but based on the instructions given by Rouhani, from the 2800 job opportunities provided by this year's exam this June, 2284 jobs are exclusive for men, 500 are common for both women and men and there are only 16 jobs exclusively for women.

In a meeting with the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) on Wednesday, September 17, the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei expressed concern about the bleak future of the velayat-e faqih regime and the disintegration of the regime’s forces and once again reiterated on the role of the IRGC as the linchpin and main guarantor of survival of the religious fascism ruling Iran.

He voiced concern for the regime’s prospect and acknowledged the loath of the people and even the regime’s own elements for the Revolutionary Guards: “They promise that the Iran of 10 years from now will not be this Iran. We should not allow this thought and evil hope to grow in the enemy’s heart. We should greatly strengthen the pillars of the revolution and the revolutionary mindset. All should value the IRGC. Weakening the Revolutionary Guards and unrelated statements against it are groundless and please the enemy… The IRGC is a great divine gift in the country.”

Iran: 9 executions in Gohardasht and Sanandaj prisons in one day

On Wednesday, September 16, at least nine prisoners were hanged by the Iranianregime in Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) prison, Karaj and in Sanandaj. Eight of them, including a 22 and a 24-year-old, were collectively hanged in Gohardasht Prison. And Raouf Hosseini was hanged in Sanandaj Prison after suffering 13 years of imprisonment.

Khamenei uses the business front known as “Setad” to extend his influence into every corner of the Iranian economy, including: “finance, oil, telecommunications, the production of birth-control pills and even ostrich farming.”

The report details Khamanei’s use of the Iranian state apparatus to systematically confiscate property from ordinary Iranians, including “members of religious minorities, Shi'ite Muslims, business people and Iranians living abroad.” Under the pretense of operating under the Supreme Leader, Setad has used the country's judiciary as a tool to consolidate financial resources for its own benefit.

Despite all security forces being on high alert for the so-called Friday prayers in Tehran, there were many reports of people clashing with security forces and  severe beatings.
Friday morning near Tehran University two youths on a motorcycle severely beat a repressive paramilitary Bassij agent.
In Tehran’s Bam Tuchal district youths and people were seen clashing with security agents who were harassing two young women under the mullah-fabricated pretext of improper veiling. The agents, terrified of the people’s anger, resorted to firing tear gas. However, they were not able to arrest any of the youths and were forced to flee the scene.
At a checkpoint in Tehran’s Babaie Highway at 1:30 pm on Friday a young motorcyclist refused to stop at the checkpoint and rushed through the gates, kicking a security agent to the ground in the process.
