Trip by mullahs’ foreign minister to London and participation in Syria conference will only intensify the Syrian crisis

National Council of Resistance of Iran

The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the trip by the foreign minister of the religious fascism ruling Iran to the UK and his participation in the Syria Donors Conference scheduled for February 4. The Iranian Resistance calls for cancelation of Zarif’s invitation and participation in the conference.
The clerical regime ruling Iran and its crimes in Syria are the primary problem in that country and throughout the Middle East. Seeking the engagement of the Iranian regime in solving the Syrian crisis is as legitimate and as rational as asking an 'arsonist to put out the fire'.
The clerical regime has been the main reason for Bashar Assad’s survival and continuation of the massacre of the Syrian people. It has dispatched more than 5000 commanders and rank and file of the IRGC and tens of thousands of its foreign mercenaries including those from Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and it has provided complete logistical and military support to Assad's regime. The Iranian regime has spent tens of billions of dollars of the Iranian people’s wealth in order to maintain Assad in power. The most senior officials of the clerical regime have reiterated on numerous occasions that without their direct and full-fledged support, the Assad regime would have been overthrown on a number of occasions. The Iranian regime’s officials have explicitly described Syria as one of “Iran's provinces” that has to be fought for vigorously. The downfall of Bashar Assad would be a devastating blow to the clerical regime. Hassan Rouhani, the Iranian regime’s president, during his European tour last week, once again reiterated the need to support Assad.

Maryam Rajavi’s New Year and Christmas greetings

Maryam Rajavi’s New Year and Christmas greetings
Maryam Rajavi’s New Year and Christmas greetings
Dear Christians in Iran and everywhere else,
Supporters of the Iranian Resistance across the world,
I would like to greet you on Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ, which has coincided this year with the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad.
I would also like to extend my greetings for the New Year.
I wish  that 2016  would be a year  of unity and victory  over Islamic extremism  and especially  the religious fascism  ruling Iran  and its evil allies  in the Middle East  who sow  the seeds of enmity  in the world.
We remember Jesus Christ when he said:  “Love one another just as I love you”.
Also in the Quran, God says about Mohammad:  “We sent thee as a Mercy for all mankind”.
This is the message of all divine religions and therefore, the coincidence of the two births, is a feast of brotherhood among all nations
Fortunate are those who have found the essence of Christianity and Islam in love, compassion and freedom
And we salute Virgin Mary, the symbol of love and sacrifice who is described in the Bible as “loved by God”.
The birth and emergence of every prophet mark a new birth for mankind in social life
When our world is under the attack of terror and extremism, we can find the light of freedom and tolerance and perseverance against fundamentalism and extremism in these births.
Muslims and Christians can rely on their common values to stand up to those who pervert their religions
So, in contrast to what the extremists want, we should make our hope and faith in humanity deeper than ever.
Let us hope for a swift end to extremism and for the freedom of the people of Syria from dictatorships of Bashar Assad, Khamenei and Daesh terrorists
Let us hope for end to displacement and homelessness of Christians throughout the Middle East.
And let us hope for the relief of Christian converts in Iran from the oppression of ruling mullahs and for freedom of the whole Iranian nation from this religious dictatorship.
On this occasion,  I call on the world community  to form an international front  against the religious dictatorship in Iran  and its proxies and militia  in Syria and Iraq  and to fight Islamic extremism,  the enemy of true Muslims,  Christians  and all followers  of other divine religions.
May the message of compassion, freedom and tolerance engulf the Middle East.
May the world get relieved from tyranny and fundamentalism and have a new birth and revival.

U.S. Rep. Ted Poe: Iran’s regime must be held accountable for crimes against humanity

Ted Poe
Ted Poe
The international community ought to hold the mullahs' regime in Iran accountable for “crimes against humanity,” United States Congressman Ted Poe has said.
"It is important that we in the United States and the world understand that Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world and they have their tentacles of mischief and murder throughout the world, not just in the Middle East," said Rep. Poe, a Republican lawmaker and former judge from Texas.
He added that Iran's regime had "gotten away with many of the crimes that they have committed over the last 20 years."
"The world community, especially the United States, needs to hold the current government of Iran accountable for the murder of not just its own citizens, but the murder of people throughout the world of all religious faiths."
"As the Chairman of the Terrorism Sub-committee of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, I will continue to call out the Iranian government for its crimes against humanity," Congressman Poe added.

Maryam Rajavi: Freedom in Iran is solution to crisis and instability in Middle East

Maryam Rajavi
MaryamRajaviFreedom in Iran is solution to crisis and instability in Middle East
Maryam Rajavi: Freedom in Iran, key to crisis and solution for instability in the Middle East
In the present circumstances, mullahs wage a barbaric war of oppression against the people of Iran. This can be particularly seen in the mass and arbitrary executions described by Amnesty International as "a sinister picture of the machinery of the state carrying out premeditated, judicially-sanctioned killings on a mass scale."
The average number of executions under Rouhani has reached to about 1000 per year. This is the highest record in the past quarter of a century. In addition, there are several thousands more on the death row in various prisons across Iran. These executions indicate the regime’s instability. When a regime feels threatened even by concerts and theatres, it is shaky. A regime that imprisons young web bloggers, poets, cartoonists, journalists and film-makers, is unstable.
The proponents of cooperation with this regime do not take into consideration the Syrian experience or the experiences in Iraq and Yemen. If it were not for the Iranian regime's direct support for Bashar al-Assad, there would not have been a refugee crisis or the 300,000 Syrians who have been victimized. If it were not for the mullahs' support for Iraq's former Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and his criminal policies, there would have been no opportunity for the ISIS to develop.
The Middle East needs peace, stability and democracy. This would be possible through regime change in Iran

Perviz Khazai: Iran regime major cause of regional instability

Perviz-Khazai

The mullahs’ regime in Iran is not a reliable partner for peace in the Middle East; rather it is a major part of the problem, Mr. Perviz Khazai, a former Iranian ambassador and the representative in Scandinavia of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has said.

Mr. Perviz Khazai addressed a Geneva conference on September 18 on the sidelines of the 30th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Iranians plan to rally outside the United Nations in New York on September 28 to denounce the visit by the mullahs' President Hassan Rouhani to the UN General Assembly.
The rally, which is being organized by the Organization of Iranian-American Communities (OIAC), will press the international community to hold the regime in Iran accountable for its abhorrent human rights record.

The mullahs' regime in Iran continues to execute more of its citizens per capita than any other U.N. member state. Some 2000 people have been executed under Rouhaniin the past two years.

Iran - Don’t empower Iran’s tyrants

Don’t empower Iran’s tyrants - GEN. HUGH SHELTON
Hugh Shelton
Hugh Shelton
Immediately after the nuclear deal with Iran was concluded, the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, declared that Tehran’s policies would remain “180 degrees” opposed to those of the United States. Even Secretary of State John Kerry, the deal’s handmaiden, described the ayatollah's latest remarks as “deeply troubling”.
The administration ignored the voices of its Middle East allies, a large swath of American citizens, and even Ayatollah Khamenei, who gave many ominous warnings in advance of the deal that the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism would not simply defang in exchange for economic and political concessions. But the most important voices the administration chose to sideline are of the Iranian people.
The educated and well-organized Iranian opposition says the deal will pave Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon. In fact, prior to the final announcement, more than 100,000 Iranian expatriates gathered in Paris, joined by hundreds of prominent international dignitaries, to express their opposition to the emerging deal.
The Iranian people know better. It was the Iranian opposition after all that provided key intelligence to the world that identified previously unknown Iranian nuclear facilities and programs, starting in 2002. It was the opposition that supplied U.S. battle commanders with key information about Iran’s political and military meddling in Iraq.

The Iranian people — and the people of the region and beyond — do not have the luxury to kick the can down the road and hope for a later solution. After all, virtually every Iranian exile who attended the Paris rally still have friends and family members living under the thumb of the clerical regime. Virtually every one of them has lost friends and relatives as a result of the regime’s criminalization of dissent, torture of political prisoners, mass public executions and its extrajudicial killings and sponsorship of terrorism.
