Women and girls in our society,especially university graduates, suffer doubly from problems in economic and employment arena,” asserted an Iranian cultural activist.
Mohammad Rasoul Mehnatfar talked to an ILNA reporter in Kermanshah (western Iran) about problems of women. He noted, “Compared to men, women enjoy far less social and political privileges in the cities of Gilan Gharb, Sarpol Zahab and Qasr-e Shirin and are deprived of many of their inalienable rights.”
Mehnatfar added, “Women’s capabilities and powers are completely forgotten in economic activities.”

Aformer Iranian political prisoner has described his torment during the seven years he spent in the mullahs' jails in Iran. Karim Moradi, an Iranian human rights activist and member of the Society of Iranian Political Prisoners, gave his account of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran in an article on Friday in TheHill.com:I am often asked by my American friends what I think about the Iran deal. As someone who spent seven years of his life imprisoned in Iran, it is difficult for me to give a simple answer. I have spent the past few weeks reflecting not on the nuclear deal with Iran, but on the summer of 1988, when Iran systematically massacred 30,000 political prisoners in a matter of weeks.

The Iranian regime parliament is deliberating on a scheme dubbed “protecting hijab and chastity” in order to ramp up the atmosphere of terror in the society and to intensify suppression of women in particular. Most of the articles of this 13-article legislation that was in general ratified by regime’s parliament last October aims at limiting women’s employment and imposing still further pressure and suppression of women on the mullahs-fabricated pretext of “mal-veiling.
